Natalia Smola
Founder & CEO | Grupo Ibercosta
For more than 25 years, I have been helping international clients and investors identify exceptional real estate opportunities on Spain's Costa del Sol.
My professional journey began in a very different world.
I graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Faculty of International Relations, where I specialized in international affairs and wrote my undergraduate thesis on International Terrorism.
I later pursued postgraduate studies in Political Science under the supervision of renowned political scientist Lilia Shevtsova, while working at the Carnegie Moscow Center, collaborating with internationally respected experts such as Dmitri Trenin and Alan Rousso.
Earlier in my career, I worked at the Moscow office of Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells), supporting international legal and business projects for multinational corporations during one of the most transformative periods in Russia's modern economic history.
These experiences shaped the way I think: analytically, strategically and internationally.
When I moved to Spain, I chose entrepreneurship over a traditional international career. I founded Grupo Ibercosta with a clear vision: to provide highly personalized, discreet and strategic real estate advice to clients who expect excellence.
Today, my work extends beyond buying and selling property. I advise entrepreneurs, executives, investors and international families on one of the most important decisions they will ever make—where and how to invest, live and build their future.
I believe that successful real estate advisory requires much more than market knowledge. It requires integrity, strategic thinking, cultural understanding and the ability to build lasting relationships based on trust.
My international background continues to shape every client relationship and every investment opportunity I help create.
Because exceptional properties deserve exceptional advice.
"My career has never followed a straight line—but every turn has added a new perspective, and every challenge has made me a better leader."
